The Douglas County Retardation Association, Inc. is a private, non-profit, charitable 501(c)3 organization which was established in 1970 to advocate for and provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities, and is now operating under the trade name of Douglas County Resource Alliance (D.C.R.A.).  D.C.R.A. is operated under the auspices of a voluntary Board of Directors.  Funding for programs is provided by contracts the agency has with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, HUD, Medicaid, and through donations.

D.C.R.A. is located in Douglasville, GA and provides services to individuals in the metro Atlanta area.  Services provided include a day support program, residential services, a supported employment program, a volunteer program, and advocacy.

D.C.R.A. programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
